How to spot the cat photo, and why it matters
I had to get a cat photo.
In the first few days, the cat in the photo is standing on the steps of the Jerusalem Old City, and there are the ruins of two churches in Jerusalem.
The cat is sitting on the roof of a mosque.
In between the two, a fence divides the city from the nearby Palestinian city of Jenin.
The scene is the same: a cat in a white, white robe, looking out over Jerusalem.
As I stood there, looking at the photo, I could not believe that it is real.
I had no idea what to think.
In order to get the cat photographed, I had two things: the photo must be taken in daylight; and it must be the right cat.
